I’ll Take You There by Kate Hulett

I’ll Take you There (Joondalup Edition) is a conceptually strong and well-resolved photographic art installation by Western Australia artist and photographer, Kate Hulett.

This installation depicts a series of images taken at fictional coastal ‘bus stops’ travelling through the City of Joondalup from Burns Beach in the North to Watermans Bay in the South.

Artist Biography 

Artist, Kate Hulett grew up in Mullaloo and now lives in Fremantle. She is interested in the surprising amongst the mundane and her photographic images express a deep curiosity about people, humanity and the frivolity of life.

Hulett has exhibited in Rotterdam, Sydney and Perth. In 2019, she was awarded first prize in the Perth Centre of Photography (PCP) Iris Award.
