Djilba (Spring): A Moment in Time
A joyous celebration of abundance
From the award-winning dancer and choreographer Floeur Alder, along with sculptor and writer Virginia Ward comes Djilba (Spring): A Moment in Time.
This playful performance filled with movement, poetry, sound and projection is inspired by the ‘Rainbow Coast’ in WA’s Great Southern region and explores Djilba, the Noongar season of transition, growth, and the emergence of new life.
Don’t miss this awesome and animistic routine, straight after Living Sculptures: How the Birds Got Their Colours.
“The culmination of all [Djilba (Spring): A Moment in Time]’s elements creates a solo dance work that is mesmerising to watch, itself immersed in nature.” – Kim Balfour for Seesaw Magazine
